BERG FlatGround trampolines in Belfast

It depends on the ground in that garden. A FlatGround sits over a hollow, and BERG requires adequate drainage and a check of the ground-water level. The Geological Survey of Northern Ireland maps soft, compressible clay under low-lying parts of the Lagan valley and around Belfast Lough, and stiff boulder clay over much of the rest. An installer has to judge the drainage on site before you order.

The Ultim Champion FlatGround 200 Grey, which is 200 x 200cm (6 x 6ft) and costs €699. It is sold without a safety net. BERG's 2 m of clear space at the sides applies to it as to any trampoline.

Some can. The round FlatGround models and the two smallest rectangular ones are sold without a net. A net is an option on the 410 x 250cm and 500 x 300cm rectangles, and the Pro Bouncer is sold with the Safety Net Deluxe XL or without. nidirect's advice for garden trampolines is always to use a safety net, so weigh that up when you choose a size.

It sits at ground level, so it catches far less wind than a trampoline on legs. If you fit a net, the net still catches wind, and BERG's advice is to take it off before a heavy storm.

No. BERG makes the FlatGround in Champion, Elite and Pro Bouncer, round, rectangular or square. If you want a Favorit or an oval set into the lawn, look at the InGround.
