BERG Favorit vs Champion vs Elite
Most BERG garden trampolines belong to one of three ranges. The range sets the springs, the jumping mat, the padding and the warranty, and so most of the price. It also sets which sizes exist, and in Belfast, where many gardens are small, that can decide the question before the specification does.
The figures below are BERG's own, with today's prices from our shop. Belfast Trampolines is run by Trampolines Ireland, an official BERG Premium Dealer rated 5.0 on Google.

Like for like: one size across the ranges
Starting prices are not a fair comparison, since each range's cheapest model is a different size. In each row here the size and the type stay fixed and only the range changes. "Not made" is as useful as a price: it shows where a range runs out of sizes.

Which range for which household
Favorit: the small sizes and the lowest price
Favorit starts at €339. It uses SoloSpring springs and the AirFlow mat, and BERG gives the frame a warranty of 8 years.
For a small Belfast garden it may be the only range that fits, because it goes down to a 200cm round. It is sold on legs or as an InGround. BERG makes no Favorit FlatGround.
Champion: the most shapes and sizes
Champion has TwinSpring springs, the AirFlow Pro mat and a protective edge 30mm thick, 38cm wide, with a frame warranty of 13 years. It starts at €699.
Pick it when the garden calls for a particular shape. It has more oval and rectangular sizes than the other two, it is made on legs, InGround and FlatGround, and it is the lowest-priced FlatGround.
Elite: a Champion on a heavier frame
Springs, mat and protective edge are the same as the Champion's. The Elite adds heavier frame tubing and a padding warranty of 5 years where the Champion has 2. Its frame warranty is 10 years, 13 when registered, and prices start at €1,109.
Pick it if those two differences matter to you and the garden has room. There are fewer sizes: 330, 380 and 430cm round, one 520cm oval and one 500 x 300cm rectangle.
Where the Pro Bouncer fits in
Above these three is the Pro Bouncer, with TwinSpring Pro springs and a protective edge 60mm thick, 49cm wide. BERG rates it for users up to 120kg. It costs from €2,829 and comes as a FlatGround or on legs.
It is made only at 16 x 10ft and 16 x 16ft. With clearance on every side, it needs a large garden.
In Belfast, measure before you compare
Settle the size and the type first, then the range. Measure the level ground, take off BERG's 2 m at the sides, and check for 7 m clear overhead. If you want the trampoline set into the lawn, an installer needs to look at the drainage. Two guides help: trampolines for small Belfast gardens and wind and ground in Belfast.
Then look at the models by type: above ground, InGround or FlatGround.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do BERG Favorit, Champion and Elite differ?+
Favorit: SoloSpring springs, AirFlow mat, protective edge 20mm thick, 38cm wide, frame warranty 8 years. Champion: TwinSpring springs, AirFlow Pro mat, edge 30mm thick, 38cm wide, frame warranty 13 years. Elite has the Champion's springs, mat and edge, with heavier frame tubing and a 5 year padding warranty.
Which range has trampolines small enough for a Belfast terrace garden?+
Favorit, mainly. It is the only one of the three with a 200cm (6.5ft) round, and it has a 270cm round and a 280cm rectangle as well. Champion has a 270cm round on legs and a 200 x 200cm FlatGround. Elite starts at 330cm. Add BERG's clearance of 2 m at the sides before you decide what fits.
Is an Elite worth more than a Champion?+
Only you can say. The extra buys heavier frame tubing and padding covered for 5 years in place of 2. The springs and the mat are identical. For scale, the 11ft round on legs is €1,119 as a Champion and €1,449 as an Elite.
Which of the three is made as a FlatGround?+
Champion and Elite. There is no Favorit FlatGround. All three are made as an InGround, with a low raised edge, and all three are made on legs.
